Zion Lutheran Church has a rich history. It was organized in 1897 in Horton Township. In 1960, the church moved and built the one that stands in Morris today! An education wing was added in the 1980s to accommodate the increase in youth at Zion. Kids In Christ Preschool was established in 2004 and continues to be an active program that engages children in faith-based learning.
Zion has an Orphan Grain Train (OGT) Mission group. Their mission is to "...encourage and enable God's people to share personal and material resources in bringing Christ's name." See our website under the OGT tab to see what donations we accept and are in need of.
Zion is a member of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. We welcome all to visit to hear God's Word!
