I’ll keep this brief. I attended the Minneapolis location last Sunday, and unfortunately I felt that a significant portion of the sermon focused on collecting donations. I fully support helping the local community, but the overall tone felt different than what I expected. After talking with a few friends, I learned that others have had similar experiences here.

It’s disappointing that a church located in one of the most expensive parts of Minneapolis can ask the community for financial support yet can’t manage to keep its sidewalks properly cleared. For an organization that relies so heavily on the neighborhood, you’d expect them to take basic responsibility for keeping the area safe and accessible. For reference they are the only building on the street currently with snow and ice on the sidewalks, 24 hours after snow has stopped falling.

RVC City Campus has something special going on. I was never an avid church-goer but for some reason led to come here. I was saved and baptized here. The community here turned my life around. I seriously can't recommend this place enough. Also the coffee and donuts are pretty good. Friendly staff and clean bathrooms.

I’ve never rated a church. 🤪 RVC is special. I don’t frequent Christian churches as a Muslim fella. However, I attend from time to time out of my reverence for Jesus and respect for my Christian brethren. I felt the Holy Spirit here. The Pastoral crew are awesome! The congregation are warm and welcoming. Stop in folks!

I was there one time. God works in mysterious ways, eh? Well, again, I was show that God knows what's going on. The music moved me, the musicians made me unaware of anything around myself other than me and God. The service was all about a bunch of different things. All of which helped to open my eyes a bit wider.
I haven't been to church in such a long time, yet this place felt like home. If you don't go to church but you're curious about it, check this place out! It will change your mind about what church is supposed to be.
