- NBNote BleueJul 14, 20251.0I had a troubling experience with a pastor at River Valley City, a branch of River Valley Church. During a online conversation where I was speaking against antisemitism—specifically rejecting the false claim that Jews hate Christians- the pastor from this location, Anthony David Cox, inserted himself into the discussion and told me that I could not be a Christian while defending Jews. When I disagreed and said his position was unbiblical, he responded by simply mocking me. I attempted to contact the church to raise concern, but they did not respond. My experience suggests this branch tolerates or endorses views that I find antisemitic and deeply unchristian. If you’re looking for a biblically faithful and socially accountable Christian community, I recommend exercising caution with this church.
