Daniel and his team went above and beyond honoring my Dad with special touches for his funeral. It was a very special and very well planned/thought out service and Daniel was extremely helpful with decisions and ideas that were needed to be made. Our family can't thank the whole staff enough and we highly recommend them!

I recently worked with Danielle and the team at Kozlak-Radulovich in Maple Grove when my husband passed away. We planned a visitation at the Maple Grove Chapel and a funeral at our church nearby. The team at Kozlak-Radulovich greatly exceeded my expectations and created an experience that was extremely personal - it showed how much they really care. They paid attention to every detail and the team captured who my husband was so perfectly. I truly have never seen anything like it. Everything was so well done with special touches everywhere. The kind and professional team continued to impress me as they guided us through the visitation before the funeral and on to the cemetary afterward. Thank you to all of you at Kozlak-Radulovich for your thoughtfulness that made this incredibly special during such a difficult time.

Danielle and team took great care of us and managed all of the details for our family member's funeral service. This was a very positive experience for what was a sad time in our lives. We are grateful for all of their support.

Daniel and the team at Maple Grove did an amazing job putting together the Celebration of Life for my husband, the love of my life, Patrick. They made it so special with the memrorial folder, all of the video screens, picture video, the Vikings ticket and all of the other special touches that were done. They really helped to capture who Patrick was, his love for our family, friends, our community, sports and the family trips we have taken. So much thought and effort was put into everything, so many extra details. Thank you for all that you did! It was very memorable for all who came and I was extremely happy with it all!! Tara

Frequently Asked Questions About Kozlak - Radulovich Funeral Chapels

What does it cost to bury a person in a cemetery?

First is the purchase price of the "right to use" the burial plot (unlike a real estate purchase, where you buy the land and all the structures on it; here you are only purchasing what is called the "interment rights" to the land). In addition, there are fees for the "opening" and "closing" of the gravesite; and any fees required to obtain the necessary permits and to maintain cemetery files and records. In addition, there's the fee for the use of any special equipment (such as a casket-lowering device); as well as the costs for any other services or items purchased. There's also the headstone or grave marker installation fee, and a one-time "perpetual care" (sometimes called "endowment care") fee paid to ensure your loved one's burial site is well-maintained.

Does my loved one have to be embalmed prior to burial?

This is a question we hear a lot. Many funeral homes suggest (and may even go so far as to require) embalming if you're planning a viewing or visitation. That's because they want the experience to be as good as it can be for those in attendance, and proper embalming can ensure the deceased looks their best. But as a general rule, embalming is not necessary or legally required if the body is cared for in a relatively short amount of time. Please contact us for specific state or local requirements.
