  ​"I have a lot of respect for night time crew at Sunny Cove. Both the day and night shifts are excellent. I stop by now and then to see my mother, though I keep it to a quick check-in if she’s busy with meals or social events. I really appreciate the staff for everything they do in caring for the seniors."

  My friend is a resident here. I brought her to a speciality appointment because this home will not transport anywhere unless within 10 miles of home. Upon returning, I asked to speak with a nurse if available. The front desk person responded that the nurse was busy at that moment. So a gentleman from the office next door offered to help. I went inside the office expecting to relay what her after care instruction were, along with med changes. The man ripped the papers from my hand and didn’t even let me finish to tell them she needed a follow up scheduled also. He went to make copies as I asked him to do for the resident. I came back in with the resident to get her copies. He then went into the nurses room to very loudly express that now she can put everything down every hour to fill out this paper the dr is requesting. He was disgusted that I was asking the assisted living facility that has 24/7 nurse care posted on their website to actually care for her?!?!?! Don’t let your loved ones stay here, my friend only complains about the treatment she gets here!!!! By the way this (gentleman) is the EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR!!!!
