Please don’t let your loved ones move in here. It’s clear that this used to be a wonderful place but with new ownership for the past year or so it has been completely ruined. My parents routinely have to wait over 1.5 hours to get a meal. Sometimes they give up and just go back to their apartment and make food themselves. The Director never shows up to resident meetings. No one is properly running the dining room so residents from outside the main building who don’t have meal plans are dining and drinking to their pleasure and not charged at all. Residents who live in the main building pay a huge premium and others are eating for free. Family members and friends come in and eat for free too. There is no one working to properly manage the restaurant with even the most basic service you would get at Big Boy. The place is filthy and they only started vacuuming the hallways recently after a whole year of never cleaning them. The worst part, they are absolutely fleecing the residents with eye watering rents and fees for everything and they don’t have the energy or sometimes the facilities to put up a fight. Absolutely disgusting and inhumane.

Be wary if you plan on placing your loved-one in this facility, it may look beautiful, but they have significant administration issues. The admin staff isn't often visible amongst the residents and if you have concerns, they provide the same rhetoric that they have for months...we were in orientation during that time period or give us time as we are making progress and hiring new staff or we hear you! However, nothing seems to improve and the costs have escalated dramatically without any visible improvement in the care or cleanliness of the facility. The Wellness Director could use a class in compassion, medication administration (many errors and medication confusion/mandatory changes, etc.) and professionalism when handling staff and/or residents families. If you reach out to the higher ups, i.e., Regional Director or above, you hear crickets. Very disappointed in this new regime!

I play music for the residents at Flourish. It is always a good time. They are a great crowd and Lori Voss is there for anything you might need. Its a beautiful, classy high end environment.

We’ve lived in this premier community for two years. Our co-residents, especially in the Village of independent living, are engaging and warm hearted. A decided asset for quality of life. The campus is gorgeous and the aesthetics and facilities, especially of the main building, are striking, resort like. New ownership and management during our residency, turnover of local leadership, may eventually make our community even more remarkable.
