- TMTruth MattersNov 26, 20251.0****Please Read! Everything I write is the truth and if YOU still decide to send your LOVE one to this business then YOU do not care about him or her. American House Stone is supposed to be Independent living to KEEP from REGISTERING with the State of Michigan as a Licensed Facility as a Nursing Facility. So why does American House sub-contract a company called The Medical Team to assist with residents within their locations with Nursing Assist? Most of the residents there NEED nursing home care. The Medical Team has a high turn over rate and the staff that work for this company has FAILED the very people they should be caring for. Not ALL staff are bad, the worst employee out number the ones that do their job. The employees (some) leave the building all times of the shift, give some residents the wrong medications, have left residents in diapers that was not changed from midnight shift, does not reply to the call buttons or will turn off the residents call buttons and not assist with helping them, residents have fell due to staff no where to be found and does not give breakfast, lunch, or dinner to residents in a timely manner. The employees will sit down in the dining room and eat while the residents who are in their room not able to go to the dining area sit and wait to be served and this could be up to 2 hours later. Medication are not given within the time frame or not giving at all. There is no accountability to the residents. American House is just as guilty and is aware of the complaints from family members that does care about their love ones at the STONE location. The supervisor of the Medical Team, Program Manager of American House, and some staff NEED to have NEGELECT charges against them. Remember all place give you their BEST first impression and then change once they receive the money. All that look GOOD is NOT GOOD. I will say this again, DO NOT put your LOVE one's in ANY of the American House locations. Don't say you wasn't warned

He’s enjoying the three meals a day, activities, and benefiting in numerous ways from all people checking in on him throughout the day. Everyone, from the activities director to the Medical Team are truly wonderful and treat residents with dignity and respect. We are so grateful for American House Stone!
