The staff and residents truly feel like family, and that means everything to us. My mom has been here for a couple of years now, and knowing she is in a place where people genuinely care and can be trusted to provide excellent care is priceless. No one really tells you how hard it is to find a safe, clean, and trustworthy retirement home. It’s an overwhelming process, and the peace of mind we’ve found here is beyond measure. Thank you to everyone at American House Elmwood for creating such a wonderful environment for our loved ones.

Our family feels blessed and comfortable everytime we depart from a visit knowing the staff at American House Elmwood, from the Management team, to the dining staff, housekeeping department and maintenance crew have everything under control. With the AHE team coupled with The Medical Team, the hands-on caregivers who handle the physical assistance and medical needs of the residents, we can once again sleep at night and occasionally leave town with peace of mind. The dedicated staff have become family to all of us and provide genuine love and care to our parents. Never did we think this would be possible. Thank you all so much for all that you do for them and for us. From the family of Bill and Irish Gannon.
- JJJessicaSep 25, 20251.0The Medical Team staff are terrible. The wait times are regularly over 30min. They just made a huge mistake in changing staff and bringing back old staff who had multiple complaints. American House needs to part ways and find someone better soon!
- RCRob CaldwellMay 9, 20235.0My mom has been in here since January 20th 2023 and she loves it. Jessica and Kathy were very awesome and knowledgeable about American House. There is a medical team on staff that does an excellent job on taking care of the people there. There is a cleaning crew,Carrie that cleans your room and does great work. Sue does an awesome job on doing all the laundry for the people. They feed you 3 meals a day and plenty of activities to do. My mom said she loves it here and also making new friends. I would definitely recommend this place and the staff are very nice and good.
