- CCCapsMar 21, 20261.0Not okay. Representatives from this church came to my home trying to recruit me, and I made it clear—politely—that I was not interested. Despite that, they continued to push and even asked for my phone number so they could follow up later. That level of persistence felt disrespectful and intrusive. I do not follow a religion, and as a Native American, religion is something that has caused deep harm to my people. This makes these kinds of interactions even more uncomfortable and unwelcome. Please respect boundaries. If someone says they are not interested, that should be the end of the conversation.
