  My dear friend, Daniel Sinnhuber, had spent the majority of the last five months of his life at Baldwin House. The people were so kind. The staff was so kind. The staff really knew who everybody was that lived there. A lot of sincere good people work there. I thank them for making Dan always feel special.

  My uncle has lived at Baldwin House Senior living Lakeside for over six months now, and I can't say enough about the peace of mind knowing my uncle is cared for. When I spoke with Lois, the Assistant Executive Director, to schedule a tour, she went over and above, answering all my questions, and I had many. Lois and the office staff worked within my uncle's budget and helped with enrollment in a tax credit program that reduced his rent. From the kitchen staff to the housekeeping staff, every employee has treated my uncle with Kindness, encouraging him to participate in the daily activities. They pay attention! Every time I visit, one of the employees always had something positive to say about my uncle, what he did that week, even if it's going downstairs to collect his mail. His apartment is spacious and clean. His clothes are laundered and meals prepared, which allows him the living independently.

  American House has been so good, my mom lived with me for a while and was miserable. Living here has giving her back her independence, Although the past year was hard with quarantine, American House found ways to keep her spirit up. We know she is safe, the medical team looks out for her and we know she is well cared for even though she is living in her own apartment. She loves having a place of her own again and we are grateful she can and she is still safe. The come in daily and do housekeeping although she cleans before they come in. They have activities that keep her mind and spirit up and she has made many friends. I would not hesitate to move there when it is my time.

  Great place to have your loved ones in their senior yrs. The food is great, staff are friendly and they offer lots of activities.

  My grandma has been living there for about two years now and we have seen an absolute WORLD of difference in her from when she lived with us. She has her “independence” back. I put it in quotes because qualified professionals are nearby if she needs anything 24/7 i was just able to see her for Easter(because through the facility she was able to get her COVID-19 vaccine) and she had a million things to tell us about how good the food is, and how she is taking care of herself now and all the friends she has made... and all the things she has been able to do now. Having people around her own age a lot of her old beloved friends have passed, but since moving in she has been able to make a ton of friends and tell them all about her life. American house Lakeside has been legitimately a godsend for my family and my grandma. My family is extremely appreciative for everything that American house lakeside has done.
