Terribly disappointed. Absolutely no trouble with the before/after school program (during the school year), but the summer program is a very different, saddening experience. Parents were notified days (June 13th) before day camp was supposed to start (June 18th) of an entirely different building that was 20 minutes away from the original camp, followed by a less than weeks notice of no camp (June 30- July 3rd) for the second week of summer camp (unexpected construction to the building) to then be notified on the start of the 3rd week of camp (July 7) in the middle of a business day of a gas leak that required immediate pick up (not a problem) but no telling of when/where camp would resume. I am employed full- time, a single parent and I cannot risk my parenting in addition to my employment due to inconsistent and unsafe conditions. All of these changes have caused grave concern from not only my employer in addition to the other parents concerns. My kids will not be returning for the summer camp that has already been paid for- a huge financial loss for a single mother of 2 kids and only 1 income, no other assistance.

Staff retention is needed with more engagement with interaction with the children and parents from all staff. I'm seeing a lot of sitting from certain staff with little interaction as parents come in or with children during playtime or activities. (Very few activities or weekly email program). Seems more of a regular babysitting job and not an after-school program in comparison to last school year.
