They have banned children from visiting since before summer, Even outdoors and masked.. They make you call days in advance to set up a visit. When I was there towards the end of summer the outdoor trashcan on the patio where you were supposed to visit was overflowing with trash and had a bucket of KFC chicken on top of the trashcan with thousands of maggots in it. The manager is extremely unfriendly and rude. I think something is going on around there and they are trying to hide it. There are currently no restrictions at other local nursing homes, aside from masking and hand cleaning. Just this place. If I could give zero stars I would.I understand keeping the patients safe from Covid but if all of the employees aren’t quarantining and isolating how do they know they are not risking bringing something in? Wouldn’t the same safety level be maintained with visitors masking and hand cleaning like the staff?
