  Lucid Clancy Funeral Home in Weymouth, MA, provided exceptional service to my family during the funeral arrangements for my late sister. From the moment we contacted them, they were compassionate, professional, and attentive to our every need. Jim the funeral director here has been doing this for decades and he was the consummate professional throughout. Jim took the time to understand my sister's life and personality, and he worked with my wife’s husband to help us to plan a funeral that was truly a beautiful celebration of her life. He was also accommodating of our budget, our religious beliefs and clearly has great working relationships with the local churches. The funeral itself was beautifully conducted, and the staff at Lucid Clancy was there every step of the way to support us. They were respectful of our grief, and they made sure that everything ran smoothly. I am so grateful to Lucid Clancy Funeral Home for the care and compassion they showed to my family during this difficult time. They helped us to say goodbye to my sister in a way that was both dignified and meaningful. I would highly recommend Lucid Clancy Funeral Home to anyone who is looking for a funeral home that will provide exceptional care and service.

  The Lucid-Clancy funeral Home is very caring, polite, compassionate, listened, and had a very good manner of helping thru a difficult time. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Mr. James Lucid and staff were very helpful to me. I had no idea of what to do. Also, would like to thank Father Matt Williams.

  Professional, Courteous & Compassionate! Our Mom & family was given the highest quality of care & honor from beginning to end. The Funeral Director here goes over & above to make sure everything is covered effeciently: from discussing affordable casket options, to adapting to the time of the wake, to offering personalized prayer cards, to hand making the winter grave marker, to saying special prayers at her service & making sure a Priest was at her grave site. He even made a special trip after to our home with an amazing Holy Bible for our Dad & family. I can't say enough great things about this man's integrity as not only a Professional Funeral Director but also as an active man of Faith, who doesn't just talk the Christian Faith but actually shows by his amazing example of his kind & caring actions. I highly recommend this place for the best care & honor of your loved one.

  Absolutely horrible experience planning my mothers arrangements. After dealing the with sudden death of my mother at the age of 52 the staff at lucid and Clancy was cold, money hungry, and extremely impatient. My siblings and I were still trying to figure out how we would pay for my mothers services and the staff at this dump of a an establishment not only tried to talk us into spending more money but then demanded payment before her body was even cold.
