The care they took for our lost love one is first class. The service, compassion, the support during a very trying time the staff was incredible.

Was very disappointed in the staff. I was at the wake for my parent and during the wake a staff member asked for payment. I had told the coordinator that payment would take some time because I needed to wait on some money but I was embarrassed and infuriated at the staff member asking for payment during my parents funeral extremely unprofessional.

I just want to say thank you to Cataudulla funeral home. The compassion they showed with me giving my 37 year-old son the send off that that he deserved. Their compassion and professionalism went above and beyond for this difficult time, they really cared. I’m not much for words but I felt I needed to say this.I especially want to thank Robert Duhurst Who guided us every step of the way. You could not find a kinder and More knowledgeable Person to help you in your time of need. Again thank you to Robert Duhurst and all the other funeral directors at Catuadella funeral home. I want to sincerely thank everyone for taking such wonderful care of my family’s needs. In particular, Deanna made us feel at ease throughout the entire process. She provided just the right balance of guidance and compassion, which meant so much during such a difficult time. My family is still talking about Deanna’s kindness—and even the small moments of laughter she shared with my aunt that helped bring a bit of comfort when it was most needed. Thank you again to the entire team for making this experience as gentle as possible especially Deanna.

I won't go into details but I can honestly say, from firsthand experience, Cataudella Funeral Home is not as good as they use to be. They no longer deliver quality service as they did in years past. Their staff and coordination are subpar at best. I would advise, consider other funeral homes before this one.

Frequently Asked Questions About Cataudella Funeral Home

Do I have to make different funeral arrangements if I choose cremation?

It really depends entirely on how you wish to commemorate a life. One of the advantages of cremation is that it provides you with increased flexibility when you make your funeral and cemetery arrangements. You might, for example, choose to have a funeral service before the cremation; a memorial service at the time of cremation or after the cremation with the urn present; or a committal service at the final disposition of cremated remains. Funeral or memorial services can be held in a place of worship, a funeral home or in a crematory chapel.

What can be done with the cremated remains?

With cremation, your options are numerous. The cremains can be interred in a cemetery plot, i.e., earth burial, retained by a family member, usually in an urn, scattered on private property, or at a place that was significant to the deceased. (It would always be advisable to check for local regulations regarding scattering in a public place-your funeral director can help you with this.) Today, there are many different types of memorial options from which to choose. Memorialization is a time-honored tradition that has been practiced for centuries. A memorial serves as a tribute to a life lived and provides a focal point for remembrance, as well as a record for future generations. The type of memorial you choose is a personal decision.
