- JIJoshua IversonAug 23, 20235.0As the name indicates this is Christ’s church, established again after the model Christ himself established through Apostles and disciples when he was on the Earth in ancient-days. All are welcome. Two area congregations of the church meet here on most Sundays and during the week: the Littleton Ward and the Acton Ward. These cover surrounding towns from Pepperell MA to Groton MA and Concord MA to Lancaster MA and volunteer lay ministers are called and sustained by the congregation and then rotate every 1-5 years. The youth groups and early morning high school seminary gather for activities and to study the standard works (Old and New Testament, Book of Mormon—another testament of Jesus Christ, and the Doctrine and Covenants). Everyone is considered a child of God so are all welcome and encouraged to attend. The teaching and messages are focused on growing closer to Jesus Christ through faith and baptism by immersion and then embracing the grace and love of Jesus Christ to help others. Church leaders in this building are not perfect but they strive help all feel welcome: There are commandments given and covenants made among baptized members that help one draw closer to God but nobody should ever be discouraged to attend because they are not living certain commandments or keeping certain covenants. Full time missionaries are also available to teach anyone about Jesus Christ as well as individual Family History during the week.

There are lots of wonderful activities during the week that make it easy to make friends quickly. The children's programs give the children a caring religious education in small groups (Sunday School), and a sense of identity within the large group of children in a class called "Sharing Time".
