  My family had to use this daycare for backup care during the school break, and it has been such a positive experience. My son comes home every day excited to tell us all about what he did and how much fun he had. He’s been so happy there that he even suggested we keep sending him because he enjoys it so much. We’re really grateful to have found a place where he feels comfortable, engaged, and excited to go.

  We’ve always felt lucky to have my son’s daycare teachers—they are incredibly caring, supportive, and truly devoted. We also really appreciate the management team. Over time, I’ve realized how much their professionalism and efficiency matter. It gives me real peace of mind knowing my child is in such a safe, well-run environment. What I also value a lot is their classrooms are bright and always clean. I love that the teachers consistently guide the children to help keep their space tidy. My son has become a little “helper” at home with chores, and I truly believe that’s thanks to the teachers’ guidance and daily encouragement.

  I found it interesting that this center was at the top of the list of providers in my area that accept vouchers but I had been told they do not take state voucher or any type of subsidy. So I called back and again was told that they do not take vouchers. So I asked why they are on the list (?) The woman further explained that there are other centers with the same name and they may take vouchers but also slipped up and said that this center does take vouchers but they are at capacity. When asked how long the list was, she said that the children with vouchers start as infants and stay until 5 years old. I laughed and asked, “all of them?” I feel a bit discriminated. Perhaps it wasn’t a fit if they’re so judgmental but still curious when those voucher babies started(?) 🤷🏼‍♀️

  My daughter has been at BH Lexington since she was 4 months old, meaning she's moved from infants to transition to toddlers and then preschool. Each set of teachers has been absolutely amazing, with great communications each day through the app, easy transitions, and strong support from the office staff. Since returning to the center after the Covid shutdown, we have seen a night and day difference in her happiness and progress compared to when she was fully at home - our daughter cannot wait to go to school each day. Her language, coordination, and interpersonal skills improve each day, and the center has been extremely helpful navigating parenting challenges, like potty training, nutrition, and hygiene. For the parents, the center almost never closes, the teachers are incredibly well-trained, the parent requirements are reasonable, and the additional webinars and workshops are really helpful. I can't say enough positive things about Bright Horizons.
