- DMDonna MitchellApr 10, 20195.0I donated blood to the Red Cross in behalf of a wonderful friend who was recently in the hospital. This blood drive was scheduled specifically for his benefit. The two Church ladies who were at the admissions desk were very friendly and accommodating. One switched her own appointment with me so I could leave earlier for another commitment. The Red Cross nurse who set me up was a little grumpy. Overall it was a good experience, one I would definitely repeat if my friend needs more donations later.
