  I’ve been to Kimwell twice before, and I tempered my reviews. I suffered another stroke in November, 2025. When it was time for hospital discharge, I asked to go back to Kimwell because it’s close to my family. They gave the hospital staff such a difficult time, asking the most absurd questions. The hospital became so frustrated that they sent me to a state of the art, rehabilitation hospital called Encompass Rehabilitation in Braintree, Massachusetts. There the staff worked with me for 4 hours a day, getting me back on my feet in record time. The food was absolutely delicious, and the nursing staff and medical doctors were second to none. The accommodations were more like a hotel than a hospital, warm and comforting while absolutely spotless. Kimwell is a dump. The nurses are overworked and simply don’t give a crap. The aids sit on their phones ignoring patients and talking about hair extensions .,The administration is all about the money. The food is slop, and the place is dilapidated to say the least. I’ll be reposting my original review that they asked me to take down. DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONES AT KIMWELL.

  Hi back in October I was sent there from the hospital. When I got there. So I had dillion, Amanda and kaleena as nurses they were awesome to me. Also the CNAs Elise, and gabby was also awesome. Any time I needed something they was there for me. I have to say dillion and Amanda pushed me to get out of bed and do stuff. And I want to thank the other staff for everything they did

  My 87-year-old mother arrived on New Year's Eve at this rehab And although you see good and bad reviews I always give everyone the benefit of the doubt and also never judge a book by its cover Yes the building is a little old there are some updates that need addressing but all in all... If my mother is getting the best care possible and her interests are respected and she is kept safe that is the number one most important thing to me!!!! Actually there were a few mechanical issues in the beginning and Dillon and a few other of the nurses had it taken care of within days and I was very pleased...with that said I want to give a few shout outs to some of Kim Wells outstanding staff the first amazing vibe I got was from Dillon.. I loved her from hello She gave me the most warmest welcome I had to give her my last Christmas candy bag She's driven she's empathetic She has a great personality She's a real gem She actually looks like she enjoys what she's doing... My second girl would be Kaleena She reminds me a lot of Dillon Both moving they're always working I never see them slacking off they're constantly helping patients doing paperwork actually since I've been coming here for almost 3 weeks I never see any of the staff goofing off ever everybody pitches in and helps pass out meals I see nurses helping pour coffee I mean you just don't see that ??? So I feel very at home here when I am visiting my mom so a big thank you to all of you and just a few more of my faves are Giovanni He is amazing with my mother She loves him He is very good at what he does very respectful young man Iolanda, Kylie what a sweetheart she is, Vanessa always taking care of business, Justina my mom's night nurse is just a peach yanni Sonya I absolutely adore my mother's physicians assistant Allison big shout out to Brian director of activities He's always willing to lend a listening ear if there's anything he can do for you and last but not least Megan assistant director of nurses and Amanda borgess director of nurses I think those were the two nurses on Thursday laying on the floor with my mom after she fell out of bed and they did not leave her side until the ambulance came so big huge thumbs up very pleased with the care here It's not perfect but it's pretty close to it also we can't forget about our housekeepers dietary staff and activities staff I watch how they interact with the patients playing volleyball with them and bowling And they actually interact with the patients very professionally and lovingly and there's lots of laughs I love watching the activities here⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you to Jody Sousa for helping me through my insurance needs and questions.. And if I did not mention your name I'm sorry I tried to give credit where credit is due so I'll still be watching and taking names 🥰Thank you ALL for caring for my mother much appreciated... I also had the pleasure of meeting Jim the administrator what an awesome guy It seems like he is very on board with what is going on with the treatment of the patients here and if we are happy very attentive to our needs. #Kimwell K1ROCKS⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  Our Dad has been a resident at Kimwell for about 1.5yrs now. As the year comes to a close, I want to send a shout out to the wonderful and professional staff that makes up Kimwell, despite the many challenges they face with an older facility. While there are too many to list, I would like to single out some of the most compassionate and dedicated staff that have cared for him: first floor Nurses Kalina, and Liz and 2nd floor Nurses Renee, "Taz", Victoria and Jen (nursing manager) and the caring CNAs: 1st floor Isandra, Gabriela and Gio and 2nd floor: Carlos, Rute, Dakota, Inreida, Linda, Crystal and Erline. A sincere THANK YOU! for all you do for my Dad! Cheers to 2026!

  My aunt is a resident there and has to have a strict diet. Melissa Owsney the food director was amazing. She went above and beyond and listened to our concerns and took the proper steps to make sure my loved one received the proper diet that was needed. Thank you Melissa Owsney for showing compassion for our loved one. You are amazing!
