- VAVirginia AinsworthAug 11, 20235.0After a bad experience at another local daycare, I was terrified to send my children to another. 2+ years later and we have zero complains about Bright Horizons. My oldest talks about his “big school” all the time. Bright Horizons has an app and I’m able to see pictures of my son throughout the day, I know what he’s eaten, what all he learned and just seeing how happy he is here made me feel at ease. We’re going to miss our Bright Horizons family as we’re entering Kindergarten.

I think when issues arise, if you are in a leadership role, you should have an awareness that issues are an opportunity to find a resolution and not to be taken as a personal attack in where you become defensive immediately. If someone is being kind in bringing an issue to you (accounting error in my case), no matter if you like the person or not, be respectful especially if they have no ill feelings towards you and especially if they are trying to work with you for a resolution..

The staff has unconditional love, and patience for the children and us parents. I have never had to worry about leaving my child or if he would learn. Speaking of learning, OH MY GOODNESS, he has learned so much from all of his amazing teachers and now that they have an app, I can see all of the progress he is making daily! They work one on one with the children and give ideas on how to work with them at home too. I like how they have an amazing meal program of different food options I wouldn't have thought to feed my child and it has opened his mind to many things. I have appreciated the communication, precaution and countless hours this staff has done during this global pandemic. Knowing my child is in a safe, clean, educational and loving school brings so much comfort!
