LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PRESCHOOL!!! They actually teach my child and follow a curriculum that will prepare my son for kindergarten. All staff are involved with the children and genuinely care for them. They also assist with potty training!!! Us parents/guardians are kept up to date using the Brightwheel app throughout the day with pictures and videos informing us about the different activities children are participating in as well as story time, what food is being served, nap time, and potty time. Iβm so glad I chose this center as my childβs caregiver. The only thing I hate is your child graduates when they start Kindergarten. I wish age limit was increased to 10 years old so my son could stay longer. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!πππ

This is a wonderful daycare! My granddaughter when there and I cannot say enough good things! I feel grateful it is secured by being gated and doors locked. With all the crazy people in this world, we need more safe environments, like this, to ensure safety of children! For the record, if you read the βnegative reviewsβ you will find they are all written by family members of 1 bad reviewer. What a shame!

We have been alarmed, to say the least by this preschool's actions. Not only was below ignored and unreported, but they've also doubled down on parents' access to their center by further locking the gates, not just the doors. If recent news reports here in Louisville aren't alarming enough and very hard to digest, I would simply ask what are they trying to hide?! Why wouldn't you want the very parents who are entrusting you with their littles to be able to pop in and see how the teachers and administration are running the center, interact with your child's teacher, and build a rapport? Three bites in one week (2 of which went unreported to the parent) is not okay, the director said of a nonverbal classmate, that that is how they sometimes communicate. Unacceptable!! They even tried the tactic of sending my daughter a cease and desist letter to demand she remove her honest review of this business and tried to get her banned from other daycare centers. AVOID THIS CENTER AT ALL COSTS PARENTS!!! Absolutely horrifying!!

My Kids have been with Small Steps for 3 1/2 years. The owner and director have really taken the time to get to know my kids and listen to my concerns. My kids love going to the school!

Iβm so happy that we stumbled upon Small Steps Preschool at the right time when we were looking. It was further than we planned to drive since we live in Bullitt County but it was worth every bit of time it took to get our kids there every day for the last 2.5 years. My 5 year old is practically ready for first grade thanks to the wonderful learning environment they provided, and my son who just turned 4 and has a hard time focusing now counts up to 30 anytime he can find something heβs interested in counting. They had so many fun experiences like gardening, building shelters for bugs, and many other hands on activities. They even made their own lunches and snacks sometimes, and they loved telling me about it. It was always fun to hear what they did every day. The best part was I could see what they were doing throughout the day through the use of their app, which was also used to communicate with parents. I donβt think we could have found a better environment for our babies. Plus, they kept our children very secure and safe within the facility and that was reassuring with so much going on in the world. Iβm so grateful for the love, care, friends, and memories our children received from Small Steps Preschool! Thank you so much!!!
