At Small Steps Preschool, our preschool program supports children from infant to 5 years in a safe, engaging, and academically rich environment. We provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks, and children have the unique opportunity to prepare their own lunch, fostering independence and life skills.
I am super impressed with the staff at Small steps. I wish they were open when I had kids in school. Seriously considering sending my grandkids there when they’re a little older. The reason I’m so impressed is, I’ve had some opportunities to work on the building that they use. And I’ve been able to see how the staff and leadership interacts with the kids. It’s so clear to me how much they care they show patients and kindness these kids. It’s a great place.

Both of my girls go to this center and have since they were babies, they are now 3 and 4 years old and still love going to daycare! They have learned so much and I have seen so much improvement in them since they started. The staff are amazing and you can tell that they care about all of their kids.

Small Steps Preschool has been an absolute blessing for our family. From day one, the care, warmth, and dedication of the staff have made a lasting impression. It’s more than just a preschool—it’s a nurturing community where every child is encouraged to explore, grow, and thrive.
What truly sets Small Steps apart is the incredible variety of activities they offer. From hands-on learning projects and seasonal crafts to music, story time, nature exploration, and sensory play—the classrooms are always buzzing with creativity and discovery. They also go above and beyond for families, regularly organizing events like holiday celebrations and parent-child activities that make everyone feel connected and involved.
The teachers are patient, thoughtful, and deeply passionate about helping each child shine. Our child comes home each day full of excitement and stories to tell. We’ve seen tremendous growth—not only in learning, but in confidence and social skills too.
Thank you, Small Steps, for giving our child such a strong and joyful start. We’re so proud to be part of this beautiful preschool family.

My nephew goes to this preschool. He is always so excited to wake up in the morning to go to school! The curriculum they use is amazing, he is always talking about what he's learned that day. He is a mixed child and has always felt love here. This is a top tier daycare.

It took me a long time to decide to write a review. I just want to protect my other brown and black children from what happened to my baby! I didn’t realize how bad this preschool affected my child until we left for good! My child was segregated and treated less than her blonde hair blue eyed babies. She hated her own skin and hair because of how she was treated at this daycare. She cried most days and didn’t want to go and I found out later that she was treated less than, yelled at, and developed anxious behaviors. I have taught my child to love all people and yet that is not what she experienced. So please if you have a black or brown baby don’t send them here! They took away nap time and called the tired children bad to their faces. My child learned nothing after Brittani, a former teacher, left and I see why she left. Protect your baby!
