- BRBashitbreakitfixit RCDec 14, 20245.0I would recommend this funeral home for your cremation and funeral services. I checked two funeral homes in Shelby county, two in Oldham and two in Jefferson county. Rattermans springhurst is the most reasonably priced for a cremation. Also their pricing for a funeral is cheaper than anybody I had checked. Tony Ratterman is the gentleman that assisted me. He's very good, kind, considerate and he was very nice to my mother when we picked up the remains of a family member. I really appreciate everything he he did for me. He was very easy to work with and I recommend him very highly. If you need a place for a small intimate funeral they have a nice facility.

Our loved one passed while traveling and was quite a distance from home. Tony made sure that the trip home went smoothly and great care was taken throughout the entire process.

Prior to my father’s cremation, our immediate family were able to view him privately. I’ve never been a proponent of an open casket for a large crowd to view. Tony Ratterman gave us all of the support needed during a very sad and traumatic time.
