The kids were thankful for what they received however they were only taken to the front part and the clothes. A 4, 7, & 10 year old came out with clothes. This was their first time here and after watching videos of what to expect I attempted to prepare them for one item of their choice and an item for giving to someone of their choice. That didn’t happen. They were disappointed they didn’t get to get the gifted item because they already decided who they were getting something for. They spent at most 15 minutes inside. It’s just not what I prepared them for from the videos and articles I saw on the Facebook page.

We loved volunteering when we were able to, and love how happy the kids are when they get to do this. I tell a lot of people about it. Worth it regardless what some may think, these kids truly take so much pride in picking items for their family and friends. My own kids have gotten many things that have helped themselves and our family.
