  This is a wonderful place to live. My Dad says he'd eat here everyday even if he didn't live here. It's his favorite restaurant. The staff are amazing and the residents are so nice.

  My mom moved into Novel Place a couple of months ago and we are so pleased with the choice we made. The other residents were made aware of her impending arrival, making her feel so welcomed since Day 1. The facility itself is beautiful and well-appointed with many additional rooms for activities, while her apartment feels new and updated with a balcony, an important feature on her wish list. There are plenty of activities that have kept her busy and increased her social connections. She raves about the delicious menu choices available, and looks forward to sharing mealtime with others. I would recommend Novel Place to anyone looking for a safe, lively and caring independent living place for their loved one.

  We moved in September, 2025, about 6 months ago & are in our 70's. It was a huge decision to move away from our home of over 40 years where we raised our family in OP KS. We realized we couldn't keep the yard up & stay on top of home repairs anymore. We heard from a neighbor about Novel Place & scheduled a tour. We were very impressed with how happy everyone was, both residents & employees! The meals were a nice surprise too. The apartments were nice & had handicap features too. We loved the atmosphere of community we felt from the beginning! Angie was very helpful with a recommendation of a moving company that did packing, moving & unpacking helping make this the easiest move ever. We are thankful we were able to stay in the area we love & are familiar with! We can get rides to places & keep a car for small errands. The biggest plus is that we didn't have to give them our nest egg & we can hire in home health care help &/or hospice if needed. This was a great move for us & we are both very happy here!!

  When we started the process of finding a place for my mom we looked at several places and checked reviews. When we stepped into Novel Place it was different from all the rest, everyone was friendly and welcoming. In talking was the residents it was obvious that they were very happy living there and interested in my mom joining them. She has been very happy here and making new friends. The staff is incredibly helpful in the whole moving process especially in deciding exactly how much of her belongings would fit into her apartment. To her surprise she was able to bring all her most important belongings. I would highly recommend Novel Place if you are looking for a place for your loved one.

  The team here is the #1 asset of Novel Place. I've lived in other senior living communities, but the management here is wonderful and makes the biggest difference. The #2 asset is the food. The residents are rapidly becoming a family because of the management, and inflow of new residents - it is turning into a family-type atmosphere. Having breakfast and dinner together is a great feature and helps us bond together too.
