We cannot say enough wonderful things about Kids at Heart. We were warmly welcomed into the Kids at Heart family when our daughter was just 8 months old. We came in with an infant, and are leaving 4+ years later with a kindergarten-ready little girl.
While common among working families I know, there were so many mornings when I would leave with the guilt of not working out how to have her home more. But, for every morning I left with that mindset, I was always comforted knowing that every day she was there was a day she was among an incredible team of teachers who could teach our most precious gift things we couldn’t have possibly done ourselves with such skill and success.
We will miss each and every teacher and administrator who had such a positive influence on our daughter, and her parents, too!

We started sending out son here when he was 1 year old. I was nervous about the transition but Kim and his teachers helped to get him acclimated and kept me updated on how he was doing every day. Over the past 6 months, he has grown to be so much more social and vocal and I am certain that is due to his great experience at Kids At Heart. Lately he has been coming home with new words and animal sounds! We are thankful for his teacher's dedication to his learning and for the love and care he has received from everyone at Kids At Heart.

I'm only putting one star because it is required to post a review. This place is APPALLING. It is one building that has haphazardly put together "sections" for each age group. Rickety wooden fences that are not secure or stable grossly section off each age group. The "daycare" is clearly at its max as children were on top of each other. I didn't have time to count the child to teacher ratio but I would guess it was minimum 15 to 1. Speaking of "teachers", a 2 year old was crying on her mat and the teacher walked over, stood above her (didn't get down to her level) and literally yelled at her 'Stop crying, I told you to stop crying right now!'. This "teacher" had ZERO empathy or patience. It was only when she noticed me that she then said to the child, "Oh, are you okay". I couldn't believe it and the Director was standing right there! Completely oblivious to the situation and clearly the norm for her day-to-day. To top off the poor conditions and borderline child abuse, the place was horribly depressing with poor and dingy lighting. The playground was a joke with cheap plastic equipment.
Finally, the real deal breaker was the hygiene of the facility. The smell of urine greets you at the door and almost knocks you over with its potency. The floors were filthy and at this point I couldn't bring myself to look at the mats the poor dears were laying on.
Bottom line this place filthy, unsafe, and has abusive "teachers". It is the worst daycare I've even seen.
UPDATE 7-26-16 Owner's Response:
I'm sorry you feel the review is exaggerated, however I 100% stand behind my feedback of the facility. I am happy to hear you took corrective action with the teacher's unacceptable behavior and hope it improves. Hopefully the hygiene of the facility is on the path to improvement as well. Aforementioned, this is not a facility I would recommend.
