- LSLM SmithNov 9, 20251.0I believe wholeheartedly in Genesis, the story of creation. It is supported by the book of mormon as the authors repeatedly state that they continually read from the books of moses the creation story. For believing that my Bishop called me a flat earther with an agenda. Even though everything I found was substantiated , and therefore I believe because I got it from the book of mormon and from genesis. He informed me he was an astrophysicist and he knew how the world works.But it can explain anything to me. Like , if we're on a spinning ball while whirling through space at sixty five thousand miles an hour , how we're not flung off. Simple. Questions the astrophysicist with all his knowledge should have answers for. Scripture clearly says you cannot serve 2 masters. But he is a scientist.So we know what choice he made.Because after all you've got to trust the science. How many of you have friends who died from trusting the science? How many now have autoimmune diseases , because they trusted the science? Not alll bishops believe this , so I tried to go to another location of the same religion. Specifically, oneWhere the bishop does believe in genesis and does believe what is written in the book of mormon regarding the creation story but this Bishop won't release my records. Salt.\nLake headquarters says everyone's entitled to their beliefs.But apparently everyone except me , because he will not release my records to go to another area where the bishop does believe the gospel one hundred percent. These surely are the last days when a bishop keeps you from going to church by making you feel awful for believing in the gospel 100%.
