When she passed away, we called Whispering Willows to talk through the next steps, and the woman we spoke to was an absolute angel. She spoke with such kindness and care, and they got us in as soon as possible. When we arrived, we were overwhelmed with grief and struggling to cope with the loss of our tiny baby. We truly needed hand-holding, and the gentleman we spoke with guided us so gently that we didn’t have to think about anything except loving our dog in those last few moments. I had hoped to have the time and space to custom order an urn on my own, but I didn’t get that opportunity. I wanted Coco to be placed in something beautiful, and they had the most perfect options—far better, in my opinion, than anything I had found online. For our sweet girl, who was only a few pounds, we chose a simple yet beautiful brass heart with paw prints. When we picked her up, they gave us a thoughtful pamphlet with guidance on the steps of grief, along with kind advice on handling ashes. It felt like they went the extra mile—not only to protect our hearts but also to honor the memory of Coco’s image. That level of care was truly above and beyond. I will never forget the grace and compassion they showed us in such a lonely and vulnerable moment. And on a lighter note—their office puppy is such a doll. We were so heartbroken when we came to pick up Coco, and being greeted with love from that happy little pup brought a moment of comfort we really needed. As I’m sure you can tell, we are endlessly thankful for the professionalism, kindness, and care shown to us during such a difficult time.
