  I just exprienced one of thier employees driving thier mini buses almost cause a huge accident and pull into traffic into my van with infants. I was appalled by this driver careless driving that way in Orland Park. They nearly ran me off the road with kids and I called the school gave the lisease plate and the one manager said the head person was on vacation and she didn’t know the buses licenses plates or where they drive. I’m not sure if she was trying to protect the driver or not to own up to one of their drivers driving wreckless on the road with kids on thier bus. If I was a parent I’d be concerned if my kids attends this school. This situation was atrocious. It happened today around 2 pm by wolf road.

  My son is 11 and going into his fourth summer at Mary Sears Children’s Academy in Orland Park—and he absolutely loves it! Every week there’s something new: magicians, DJs, reptiles, tie-dye, Harry Potter days, and field trips to the theater and Orland Park water slides. The variety is amazing! The director, Mrs. Sheeran, and her staff are incredible. They’re not just organized—they’re genuinely caring and attentive to each child’s needs. It’s a place where kids feel safe, seen, and excited to be. My son counts down the days to camp every year. If you’re looking for a summer camp that’s fun, creative, and full of heart, I 100% recommend Mary Sears!

  We highly recommend Mary Sears Orland Park! Our daughter started last year in Room 2 around 20 months. Shes learned her colors, shapes, animals, counting to 20, manners, sharing, lots of songs, and more. The kids come home with a new project or coloring page every day, something they’re proud to show off at pickup. There are also themed weeks and days, ex: Dr Seuss Week, Elsa Visit, Spider-Man Visit, Pony Rides, Color days, yard signs for holidays, etc. At the end of the school year, they hosted a graduation ceremony to celebrate everything they’ve learned the past year. Mrs. Sheeran and the teachers put a lot of effort in ensuring the kids are entertained and look forward to school! They also have play outside in the large yard when the weather allows. There are a parent teacher conferences in the fall and winter to catch up with the teachers on what the kids do on a daily basis, we really liked this because we are usually running around at pick up / drop off times. You can also communicate on the app at all hours. They send out a recap of each day at the end of the day so you can see diapers, eating, nap and a few photos taken by the teachers.You can also invite grandparents or others to have the app so everyone can see how your child’s day was. My niece also attends in Room 1 & would reiterate all above. We have also met great local families by attending kids birthday parties outside of school. If you’re on the fence, take the tour!

  We love MSCA! The Director and Staff are amazing. We love the atmosphere and feel like our girls have progressed immensely since being there. The curriculum and activities they do with the kids are fantastic for learning and growth. We highly recommend MSCA!
