  We are very happy to be part of the BH Northbrook family! When we were touring the location prior to my daughter's birth, we were impressed by the curriculum, the quality of the teachers and staff, and loved the outdoor play spaces available to the kids--and it has not disappointed in the year we've been there. I especially love that books are always out and available in the classroom; some of the other comparable large day care centers in the area only brought out books during specific reading times. I also love that food is provided and that no uniforms are required.

  As their Spanish Enrichment provider, I have the privilege of working with some of the most caring, capable and conscientious teachers every week at Bright Horizons at Northbrook. I really appreciate the clean and thoughtfully laid out classrooms and am always impressed with the artwork and activities that are out for the children. Everything is with purpose and very engaging and child-centered. Children are well-cared for with nurturing and fun-loving hands. As impressed as I am with the facility and Carrie Stanek's terrific direction, the teachers are what really make BH at Northbrook so exceptional. For example, Miss Jen and Miss Kristin in Kindergarten Prep are stupendous teachers! They are usually working to put together another fabulous activity or lesson for the children as I teach Spanish, and yet, they are paying attention to my lesson to help reinforce it later. They make it a point to tell me what the children retained and were excited about in my absence which makes me a better teacher! It's truly a delight to walk into BH every week!

  My family moved to Northbrook area recently. When we toured the Bright Horizon in Northbrook, we liked it. Bright Horizon has a very balance curriculum and their staff were very professional. Our kid learned so much at daycare after being there for a month. She now can write her name and loves the 12 month song. The best part of Bright Horizon, she learns stuff by playing. Also, daycare teachers introduce roles and responsibilities into their routines. She likes to be lunch helper, line leader, etc. every night when she gets home, she wants to tell us all about her roles at school and she is very proud of herself. We love that. Throughout the day, Bright Horizon app pushes notifications such at potties, lunch and activities. I felt like I am not missing out. Also I can adjust her night routine based on those updates. For example I would take her to bed earlier if she did not nap. Overall, we are very pleased at Bright Horizon.
