I've always been on a back and forth spiral when it came to God and my faith in him due to so many unanswered questions from a lot of traumatic situations throughout my life. As a result, I wound up being quite skeptical of the whole religious factor in general & whether or not God existed. Therefore, going to church wasn't a place I felt comfortable with. One night there were two missionaries (Hughes and Erickson) that knocked on my door asking if they could teach me the word of God. I let them in & I'm so grateful I did. They were not only informative about the subject but also helped me change my perspective of God, guided me through the process with immense patience, genuinely persistent & dedicating from the very beginning, convinced me to go to church & even took time to help me outside of church. Sadly, they were transferred to another location recently but now have two new missionaries (Lucy and Alicia) which I'm getting to know & hoping to connect with them as well as I did with the others. Oh & I'm going to be getting baptized March 1st. Holy crap! Can you believe it? 😳 Thank you Elder Hughes & Elder Erickson for everything & I will miss you both so much. 😢
