  Rude receptionist needs training! I attempted to connect with admissions to apply on behalf of a family member; after several days of leaving voicemails the receptionist failed to inform me admissions was out of the office for the whole week by my 4th call the receptionist asked me countless questions and after informing her of my business she stated only care cordinators can connect to admissions and hung up when I called back she threatend to report me and so I asked for her name and her supervisor and you guessed it she hung up again. If they behave this way on the phone I wonder how they act with patients when nobody is looking. Stay clear of this place and take your business elsewhere. No class and no etiqette at Fair Oaks!

  Everyone was friendly. My therapy and the nurses were wonderful. Lots of personal care. Highly recommend. The place was clean and well managed. This is being submitted on behalf on my mother, Kathy, who stayed at Fair Oaks for 5 weeks.

  Nasty place, the only staff I’m going to except from my definition are the CNAs. The Hispanic ones, those are the best!

  This place is phenomenal! The staff was friendly, patient-to-staff ratio excellent, beautifully clean, and smell-free. Most of the residents seemed to enjoy being there, and I could not blame them! I wanted to move in and don't need their services. Yet. From my own experience with having to find and put my own mother in a rehabilitation/long-term assisted-living facility, I really wish I would have known about this place then! It is a true diamond amongst quite a large amount of garbage out there. I went there on a surprise visit with my husband and sister-in-law to check the place out for their mom/my mother-in-law. (Tip: NEVER schedule an appointment with ANY place you may be considering placing a friend or loved one in for after-hospital rehabilitation/short-term care, or even long-term assisted living care! This throws them off and you may get to see the real side of things. If they know you're coming, they'll have a chance to hide any dirty laundry, so-to-speak. If you're looking for a place, just drop in without warning and then ask for tour and any/all questions answered.) I went because I know what to look for in a facility and ask the right questions. Fair Oaks is definitely a place you would want to put a friend or loved one into and feel safe and comfortable for all, knowing they're getting the best care, food, therapy, etc. available! All the bad things about the place my own mom is at does NOT apply here. All the horror stories you hear of places like this do NOT happen here. This place is a treasure and it was wonderful to see! I would recommend this place without hesitation.
