Michalik Funeral Home is proud to be family owned and operated since 1929, offering funeral and cremation services. We provide the closest location to downtown Chicago, with a chapel and supervised parking, despite the closing of many funeral homes in the area. Today, Delphine and her son Joshua carry on the tradition of serving families for many generations, as well as the countless new residents to the Gold Coast, Streeterville, Old Town, Goose Island, River North, River West, West Loop, Ukrainian Village, and West Town neighborhoods. We also serve many families in the outlying areas of Chicago and its suburbs in cooperation with many funeral homes convenient to the family.

It was a very difficult time and I had never planned a funeral before and was dreading it, but Josh Michalik and Katie (the mortician) made it so easy. They handled everything from beginning to end. My brother had made a lot of the decisions before my mother passed but then I stepped up and wanted to change things a bit and Josh and Katie could not have been more patient and helpful with the details. And there was never an attempt to sell us on more expensive options; it was actually quite the opposite. I highly recommend Michalik Funeral Home for their compassion and professionalism.
