  I recently enrolled my infant with Grand Avenue and the experience couldn't be better! The director and teachers are so supportive, welcoming and knowledgeable. I feel confident leaving my baby in their care every day. Highly recommend!

  Parents beware before making a deposit! We got on the wait-list 8 months in advance for the infant room, and were told we were first on the list. I planned accordingly to return to work after a limited maternity leave. Less than a month before the expected start date, Lauren, the assistant director, emailed, casually mentioning that there wouldn't be space until 2 months later. We scrambled to make things work, and as we stayed in communication with them, they later postponed the start date ANOTHER 2 months. We ultimately had to scramble to find another center to enroll in at the last minute. I don't know whose job gives them the flexibility to take an extra 4 months of maternity leave. Definitely not mine. Despite not being able to honor the agreed start date, the center has REFUSED to refund our wait list deposit. Maybe this was an unreasonable response to an honest accident. Maybe it was an intentional act to manipulate us into making a deposit last year when they knew they would not be able to meet our needs. I'm not sure. But either way, I feel taken advantage of by people who I was ready to trust with the most important task of caring for my child. After this experience, I would not plan to enroll my baby here even if the space did open up, after seeing how poorly we were treated. I would not trust them to appropriately care for my child. To other parents and parents-to-be, if you are expecting reliable childcare to be available when you need it, I would look elsewhere. Please proceed with caution and at minimum, have a solid backup plan that you can enact at short notice for an extended period!

  We are so pleased with Grand Avenue Preschool - Burr Ridge! We recently moved from the city to the suburbs, and I was very concerned about how my kids would adjust to their new daycare. They were so comfortable and well taken care of at their old place, I couldn’t imagine another daycare that could match it. I’m glad to report I was wrong. The teachers at Grand Avenue have made my children feel so welcome and safe, and they appear to take a vested interest in how my kids are adjusting and developing. It’s stressful as a parent to leave your kids in the care of others, but Grand Avenue has made it easy. I have a sense of relief knowing they’re at a place where I feel the teachers and staff have their best interest at heart. We commute 25 minutes to this daycare, and when we were looking, I visited daycares that were more convenient to our house, but when I toured Grand Avenue, I knew in my gut we had to go here. And I don’t regret my decision for a minute. My kids are happy, and so are we.

  My son has been at Grand Ave for 2 years now and loves it. He is always happy to go and likes all of the activities.This last year has been hard for so many and Grand Ave has done a fantastic job of keeping things as normal as possible by still involving the parents by having outside activities and you tube videos to show music performances.

  We love Grand Avenue Burr Ridge!! I’ve sent both of my children here and I have COMPLETE peace of mind when they are in their care. We have done the kindergarten enrichment and preschool - and my kids love it and come home with big smiles on their faces. Nancy and her team of teachers/administrators are the best of the best!! We are so happy with our choice to send our kids to their program.
