  The staff at Brookstone of Aledo have been absolutely wonderful to both my parents and our family as our parents transitioned to assisted living. As our first point of contact, Lisa Wessels was incredibly helpful in explaining the application and move-in process, touring us through the building and making sure our parents could envision Brookstone as their new home. Marcie Terrill has worked tirelessly to help us through the financial part of the process. Both of these gals have always been available to answer any questions or concerns at any time with genuine care and kindness. Head Nurse, Sue, and her team have been absolutely wonderful! They come to my parents' aid whenever needed, reminding them to not be afraid to call on them however big or small the need. Activities Director, Beth, does an amazing job keeping a schedule of fun and entertaining activities so that there is always something for the residents to do. Missy and the kitchen staff work hard to provide nutritious meals with alternative options making sure there is always something good to eat. At the front desk, Sheila greets us with a smile and is always helpful. Chris, Executive Director, was very helpful during the application process and definitely considers his residents' needs when making decisions for the facility. Our parents have come across old friends and made some new ones and this journey is just beginning for them. We are grateful to the entire Brookstone of Aledo staff and are so happy for this chapter of life for our parents.

  I enjoy living here seeing old friends and making new. Plus I can either have my meals provided for me or make something in my own apartment. Nice having things to do especially with the guys. If I need any type of assistance, always someone around to help me. Have both support and independence living here. Nice people.

  Our dad, Dean McCreight was lucky enough to join the Brookstone family on September 18th. He is adjusting very well and happy to see so many residents and members of the staff that he knows. Everyone has been so good to Dad. My sister Pam and myself along with Dad toured Brookstone in July and were welcomed with open arms. Lisa Wessels and Chris DeFrieze have been so helpful in so many ways getting Dad adjusted to his new surroundings. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful facility in our community. I can speak for our entire family that we are giving Brookstone a 5 star PLUS rating. Thanks again!
