Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are considered houses of God, a place of holiness and peace separate from the preoccupations of the world. They provide a place where Church members make formal promises and commitments to God. They are also the place where the highest sacraments of the faith occur — the marriage of couples and the "sealing" of families for eternity. Temples serve as the only place where ceremonies such as baptism and eternal marriage can be performed on behalf of those who have died. Temples point Latter-day Saints to Jesus Christ and their eventual life with Him.

From groundbreaking to completion, the temple was highly anticipated and beloved. There was a lot of excitement to bring this to the Pocatello Valley and we couldn’t be happier. The Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is a place to feel peace and to worship God. You do have to have a recommend to go further into the temple but you are still able to walk the grounds during their normal hours and also sit in their waiting room.

Nothing better than going to the temple with my dear sweet wife. We had such a a great time serving departed loved one by doing their endowment work for them. We love the temple. Such peace and love each time we go to the temple. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is so fulfilling and brings such joy into our lives.
