Family Counselor
Keys to Living Counseling Center was founded in 1980 by local professionals and pastors. The need was for professional counseling services that not only respected the faith and values of Christian clients but utilized them as integral to the counseling process. Important to this process is a working knowledge of the worldview of a Christian client that is informed by the Christian Bible. Understanding this worldview is central to the effectiveness of treatment. Based on the absence of this kind of professional counseling service, Keys to Living was founded.

Tim is the type of leader who brings integrity, wisdom, and genuine care into everything he does, and it shows in the reputation of this practice. His wife, Colleen, is also a counselor there and is equally compassionate, thoughtful, and dedicated to helping people grow and heal. Keys to Living is known for providing excellent counseling services, for truly listening to the people they serve, and for creating a safe and supportive environment for individuals and families. Anyone in need of professional, trustworthy, faith-guided counseling would be in great hands here.
- TTTimApr 21, 20251.0People I know have left because of the poor billing and financial leadership within the institution. Their communication is "Pay always, even if it's illegal/questionable." They have billed us multiple times without cause, which they put on my wife and I to clear up. This is wrong. They do not care, and did not admit any fault, even though they were forced to drop most of the bills, due to illegal billing.
- JDJustin DownsMar 27, 20151.0Easily the worst and most reckless experience I have had with any "professional service" industry. Each counseling session had no direction or control by the facilitator what so ever. Utterly offensive to hear a therapist give medical insight and advice that helped tear apart a marriage based on opinions from a practitioner that had absolutely no medical background or any scientific evidence to support her opinions in any way. If anything this Christian Marriage counseling over the course of only 2 1/2 sessions helped fast track a divorce instead of salvaging one... and all for the modest price of about $150.00 a session. There was no evidence of any Christian based support or a safe open environment to convey any information. I would never recommend this service to anyone or anything it offers. You simply don't offer information about drugs or drug abuse as fact when all of your information is completely false and inaccurate, then not have to take responsibility for the influence is caused.
