  I would highly recommend Stewart Baxter Funeral home. Wow, I hope nobody has to need their services , but if they do they went above and beyond to make our son‘s funeral seamless and made sure we were taken care of with so many little details.

  I felt that Nick and Trey treated me like I was the only one they were working with. Never in a hurry and listened to every word I said. I had some of my own ideas and they embraced those as well. Grateful to work with very caring individuals.

  My husband unexpectedly passed away in December, I was in shock and didn't know what to do or where to go. We put a call into Stuart Baxter funeral home and talked to Mason and they were great they did an amazing job helping us put together a small gathering together, they made us feel comfortable in such an awful time. I would highly recommend them to anyone that has lost a loved one they make that time so much easier. Thank you to Mason and the staff at Stuart Baxter for making a bad situation tolerable.

During this challenging period, Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services provided invaluable support and guidance as we navigated the funeral process. This was my first time working with a funeral home, and Stewart Baxter set an exceptionally high standard for professionalism and compassion. Personalized Attention and Exceptional Service: From the moment we entered Stewart Baxter Funeral Home, we were immediately put at ease by Jacob, the owner and funeral director, and Trey, their talented graphic designer. Despite the intense emotions that come with the loss of a loved one, their approach was both comforting and supportive. Trey collaborated with us to design the funeral programs, ensuring they matched our vision perfectly. He listened attentively to our preferences and incorporated special touches that made the programs truly meaningful to our family. His creativity and dedication were evident throughout the process. Professionalism and Compassion Throughout: Jacob guided us every step of the way, explaining what to expect before the funeral and ensuring that we felt prepared. During the service, we were deeply impressed by the kind, gentle, and respectful manner in which everything was handled. Jacob’s interaction with my mother, who has dementia, was especially thoughtful—he always spoke to her directly, using a slow and calming tone that provided comfort during a difficult time. Whenever my father’s casket needed to be handled, Jacob and Blair approached the task with the utmost dignity and respect, honoring my father’s memory in every action. Their professionalism and empathy made a challenging experience more bearable for our entire family. Their care didn’t end there. We received an Aftercare Service Summary call that provided a step by step detailed description of the myriad of things that need to be done after someone passes away. This was backed up with an email, giving even more detail. We have also received some very kind and compassionate texts from Elizabeth making sure we were doing ok and letting us know they are there for us. They really show how much they care and that makes all the difference in the world when your heart has been broken by the loss of a loved one.
