As my family and I made plans honor my father’s wishes to have them buried in Hawaii because it was their favorite place to visit. As it was going to be a Military burial Dodo’s was there to make all the arrangements for us. As all 35 children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were coming from the state of Illinois area, it was all their hands to organize for us. The whole family was so pleased with how the ceremony went which helped put them at ease. As we never met them in person they still after it all they called me to make sure everything went smoothly. I thank them for all they did for me and my family.

We lost a family member who was living in Hawaii while we were here in Colorado. Gavin was so kind and helpful during this whole process to answer lots of questions, communicate via email, and take care of my uncle. We appreciate his professionalism and compassion.

This is the worst mortuary I have ever come across, they make the business of two-faced greed an art form, all smiles, piety, consideration and caring until the doors get closed and when the doors close business takes over and the Dodo greed machine kicks-in like nowhere in the civilized world. With Dodo's It's victim-time in the funeral business so be warned - You're-it! They treat the deceased carelessly, they cut corners in technology for profits sake, they scam the grieving relentlessly with threats like holding the remains of the deceased hostage, taking the living on an emotional roller-coaster ride they will never admit and certainly never forget if you don't pay even more than you thought you had agreed - brace yourself for a living hell. Greed controls everything at Dodo Mortuary, the body and the business behind those closed doors, that nightmare out of sight where they have they're way with you the bereaving. It's more money they want! Don't worry just buy the biggest, most expensive package they offer, abide by everything they say, don't expect anything special particularly consideration and above all don't breath too deeply for the sake of gag reflex, agree to pay whatever they want and never question the cost, don't be concerned if at the end there's another little tack-on, another additional basic-charge before anything else gets done, after-all you have credit, they'll say, and remember it's only money, the Dodo's needs more and more and more money, it's their business and then after the doors get closed you will never see mom or dad, grandma or grandpa, uncle, son or daughter again, their gone, they won't pay the bill, that's the estate or your pocket whatever it takes. The Dodo grim-reaper rolls the body, goes through the pockets than yours, they do not care for the dead or for you before or after the bills get paid, paid in full! For Dodo's there is no governmental oversight, it's Hawaii so buyer-be-ware and as for your loved one the Dodo will dump their ashes unceremoniously into the sea or the dumpster out back after extorting as much as you can afford, as much as they can get as down payment and so much more lost, the good memories tarnished by the Dodo - replaced and lost for the horror of the Dodo's need for profit and the despicable tactics they employ. Had a good life after all, was never abused before the Dodo took control, there will be good memories returning once the horror of Dodo's fades and at long last the memories are gone! But for now don't continue letting Dodo's get away with such abuse, such extortion - look behind those closed doors, document their careless misbehavior, their bullying with a smile, their extortion to the end, warn others with an online review as to inform that they are at risk and as vulnerable as you have been - or simply use another mortuary. Do the right thing!
