⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We honestly couldn't recommend Busy Bees East Grinstead more highly.
Our daughter has been at the nursery since she was just 7 months old and has progressed through every room. She has absolutely loved every stage of her journey and has attended full-time (5 days a week). Even now, she often doesn't want to leave at the end of the day because she's having so much fun!
Every single member of staff has been kind, caring, friendly and approachable. They've created such a warm, family atmosphere that has made us feel completely confident leaving our daughter in their care every day.
One thing we've always loved is that they have their own on-site cook preparing fresh, homemade meals. Our daughter has always enjoyed the food, and it's reassuring knowing she's eating such lovely, nutritious meals each day.
The biggest testament to Busy Bees is how much our daughter has learned during her time there. She constantly amazes us with the clever things she comes out with, and so much of that is down to the fantastic teaching, encouragement and care she's received from the team. As she gets ready to start 'big school' next month, she's already confident with her letters, numbers, early writing and so many practical life skills. They've done an incredible job preparing her for this next chapter.
We're all feeling quite emotional about leaving because Busy Bees has been such a huge part of our lives over the last four years. We know she's more than ready for school, but we'll really miss the wonderful staff and the special family feel they've created.
Thank you to everyone at Busy Bees East Grinstead for giving our daughter such a happy, nurturing and inspiring start to life. We couldn't have wished for a better nursery (side note - we have an older child too who went to another local nursery and Busy Bees trumps it by miles!!)

Our daughter has been attending Busy Bees for the past two years, and we honestly couldn't be happier with our experience. From the very beginning, every single member of the team has been welcoming, caring, and genuinely invested in her development and happiness. Thank you Elaine and Alex for helping us with an emergency admission when everyone else refused to help us 💗
It's impossible to choose a favourite because every member of staff is amazing. They all go above and beyond to create such a nurturing, safe, and fun environment where children can thrive. The love, patience, and enthusiasm they show each day is clear to see, and it's made such a positive difference to our daughter's confidence, learning, and social skills. A big shout out to Lexi, Siobhan, Steph, Nana Sue, Brooke, Chantal, Shelly and everyone else ♥️ special thanks to Chef Sam who has been so patient and so accommodating since the first minute.
What makes Busy Bees even more special is that we've never felt like just another family—we truly feel like we're part of one big family. Every member of staff takes the time to get to know us, and it's clear how much they genuinely care about not only the children, but their families too. Even our older son is always made to feel so welcome whenever he comes with us. The staff always greet him with such warmth and kindness, and it's obvious that he feels just as loved as our daughter. He wants everyone to know that he has a special bond with Shelly, Alex and Laura, who is currently part of the preschool team but has been our son's first key worker at a different nursery many years ago. It is lovely to see that our nursery has the best staff ever ❤️
As parents, there's no better feeling than knowing your child is excited to go to nursery each morning and comes home full of smiles, stories, and new things she's learned. The communication with parents is fantastic, and the care and dedication shown by the entire team is second to none.
We are so grateful to everyone at Busy Bees for making our daughter's early years so special and for making our whole family feel so valued. Thank you for everything you do—you've created such a wonderful community, and we couldn't recommend Busy Bees highly enough.

We absolutely love this nursery! Our 18-month-old loves coming here and is really thriving. The staff are all so caring, friendly, and amazing, and it’s clear how much they genuinely care about the children.
A special mention to Molly and Kaitlyn in the baby room, who are both amazing and take such wonderful care of our little one. And we can’t forget Helen from the pre-school room, our son still talks about her now, even though he left to start school last year! It really says a lot about the wonderful relationships the children build there. We couldn’t be happier with the nursery!
The management team are also fantastic, and communication is great, with regular updates and photos through the app, which is lovely for keeping up with their day.

We’ve had such a fantastic experience with Busy Bees East Grinstead. Both of our children started when they were 1 year old, so we’ve experienced all four rooms, and we’ve been so impressed every step of the way.
Our eldest is now in preschool and will be starting school in September. She absolutely loves it, never complains about going in and often doesn’t want to come home! She’s learnt so much, developed really well, and grown in confidence.
Our youngest is currently in the baby room, and the staff are brilliant. They really listen to her needs and are always happy to adapt their care to suit her. It’s so reassuring knowing she’s in such caring hands.
The food deserves a special mention too. Everything is freshly cooked on site, and the menus are varied and nutritious. The nursery is fantastic at catering for allergies and dietary requirements, making sure every child is included and well looked after. Both of our children have always eaten really well there.
We’re expecting baby number three, who will definitely be attending Busy Bees too, which says everything about how happy we are with the nursery.
All of the staff, including the managers, are so friendly, caring and approachable. They’re also incredibly flexible and always do their best to accommodate day swaps whenever possible, which has been a huge help for our family.
We couldn’t recommend Busy Bees East Grinstead more highly!

We've been so happy with Busy Bees East Grinstead since starting in January 2025.
More recently, they've gone above and beyond in supporting both my son and our family following a couple of incidents. The care, communication and compassion they showed throughout was outstanding. What meant the most to us was seeing how safe and secure our son still felt afterwards. He attended nursery happily, with no hesitation, which speaks volumes about the trusting relationships he has built with the staff and how supported he feels there.
The team are genuinely caring, attentive and always take the time to give thorough handovers at the end of the day. They've worked consistently with us whenever we've had any concerns, and it's always felt like a real partnership. Knowing that our son is safe, happy and well looked after gives us complete peace of mind.
The range of activities is fantastic and it's lovely to see how much thought goes into helping the children learn through play. Our son is always excited to tell us about his day, and we've seen him thrive socially, emotionally and in his development since attending.
Thank you to every member of the Busy Bees East Grinstead team for creating such a nurturing, fun and supportive environment. We couldn't ask for a better place for our son, and we're grateful for everything you do.

Yes, we do – we call them settling-in sessions. If you're interested in a settling-in session, start by booking a visit to your local nursery; they can tell you more about how it works.
Do you provide nappies?
Whether or not we provide nappies varies from nursery to nursery. In some, we offer an all-inclusive package that covers nappies for children under 2. In others, we ask parents to provide their own. Talk to your local nursery to check whether you'll need to supply your own nappies.

How will I know if my child is settling in?
Starting nursery is an emotional time, for you as well as for your child. After all, it’s a big step! So, we’ll do everything we can to help your child settle in and give you peace of mind.
Before your child starts nursery, you're welcome to come for a settling-in session. Their Key Person is your dedicated contact while your child is at nursery, and they'll keep you updated on their progress each day. If there are any problems at all, they'll let you know. Speak to your local nursery if you'd like to know more about settling-in sessions.

My child's a really fussy eater. Can I send them to nursery with a packed lunch?

Instead, we provide fresh and tasty breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks at every one of our nurseries. Our menus are healthy, varied, and NHS approved, and we cater for special dietary requirements, cultural food choices, allergies, and fussy eaters, so every child can look forward to tasty food they love to eat.
