The Brick is an anti-poverty and homeless charity offering services to people who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness, financial hardship, or crisis.
We recognise the effects of poverty. We recognise its impact on local neighbourhoods and people, but we do not believe poverty and trauma is inevitable.
We provide a practical response, working alongside people to help them rebuild but also to address and mitigate the root causes of poverty and inequality. We work across five – often interconnected – areas to address the most common causes of social exclusion and long-term deprivation: Housing and Homelessness, Personal Development, Food and Health, Financial Resilience and Employment and Training.
