  One star is generous.........we were informed last week that a dear friend was to be cremated on Thursday at 10.30am. To double check we phoned the Crem on Monday to confirm the funeral and was told that it was correct. We drove 125 miles to Torquay to attend only to be told 'sorry it was on Wednesday'. We had missed the funeral because of staff who cannot read a computer.

  Book of Remembrance Room has mould on the walls by the window and the room has an unpleasant smell. UPDATE: July 20.2023 Sadly nothing has changed. There is still mould on the wall and the room has a very unpleasant smell. This is supposed to be a room of peace and sanctuary, but it is not nice to stay for more than a few minutes.

  Interesting old cemetery peaceful and tranquil. Plus gardens of remembrance for each month of the year. Where ashes are scattered.

  The staff are always polite and answer any queries and they keep it nice there.

  Very helpful at every step of the way. The video link for relatives in Australia and New Zealand was brilliant.
