  I was probably at the lowest point of my life after my wife suddenly passed away. Not being fully aware of what undertaker to choose, I was lucky to have a friend recommend Wellings Funeral Services at Burton on Trent, who apparently are part of the Co-op Group. I contacted them to arrange an appointment for the same day as I had to register her death as I wanted to get the two really stressful things done. Thankfully my step daughter came with me to Register the death, & thankfully the Registrar was personable. Next, it was off to Wellings with doubts going through my mind as to whether my friend’s judgement was going to be proven or not. When we arrived at Wellings we were greeted by Sam who listened to what we required, explained everything & answered all our questions. After while, we were both impressed, as well as convinced, that Wellings Funeral Services were more than good enough to take care of my wife on her final journey. There was no hard sales push – quite the opposite, we were given time to think about what had been discussed, we were listened to & we felt comfortable & not pressurised into making decisions. All in all, an extremely professional & friendly company, who kept me updated all the way through, that we can’t thank enough. I was so impressed, that I’m currently having my Will updated to nominate Wellings to provide the same service that they kindly afforded my wife, when the time comes. Once again, thank you so much Sam & the team at Wellings, you did us proud.

  I just want to say a massive thank you to Hayley and suzie for looking after my Nanar for the last few weeks, everything about my nanars funeral service and their care for her was above and beyond, very helpful and supportive, we were really looked after with the service we received, it made a difficult situation so much easier to manage, thank you all again, from Joanne and Taylor x

  I would like to thank Wellings, especially Hayley, Sam and Rachel, for the excellent service they provided for my uncle's funeral. Hayley is so efficient, and has the perfect personality for her job. She arranged everything as my Uncle requested in his plan, and went above and beyond to make sure the funeral went as planned. Thank you Deb and Chris Gerrard

  Thank you to Hayley, Sam and all the team for the five star service we have received yet again. We have appreciated your care, patience and understanding during these last few weeks and how you have kept us informed and updated at every stage. We couldn’t have asked for better. Your organisation was brilliant and it was so lovely how you looked after my elderly mum on the day. No one could have given our Aunt a better send off.
