  Reposting as somehow my review from last year seems to have vanished. My 2 yr old was screaming and saying he was scared going into nursery, until one day he said he was hurt by a teacher. I raised concerns and it took them 3 weeks to take this investigation and in the end said we can’t substantiate your claims. Of course I removed him from there straight away, but the fact that it took 3 weeks for them to respond and not take any measures it’s disgusting for a childcare provider. The worst was when they tried to take payment as I removed him with immediate effect. My child is thriving and super happy going into new nursery. I wish Ofsted looked into this a yr ago after our complaint, as they have clearly gotten so much worse.

  The staff are kind and caring, especially Amy, Bea, Francesca and Summer, who have always been lovely and supportive. The food is also excellent, and my son has always really enjoyed his meals. Unfortunately, my overall experience with Busy Bees Camberley has not been positive. My son has attended since October 2022, and compared with Busy Bees Farnborough and Woking, this branch needs significant improvement. There are often long waits for someone to open the door, the nursery becomes very hot during the summer, and whereas I have seen many other nurseries provide air conditioning for the comfort of both staff and children, this does not seem to be the case here. The activities could also be much more engaging. In winter, when temperatures were around -6°C, the children were still taken outside. After that, my son was unwell for 10 days, which was very upsetting for our family. When I raised this, I did not feel the nursery fully acknowledged my concerns. As a result, we were unable to go to work because we had to stay at home and care for our children. My son often says the nursery is boring and asks to stay at home, go to school, or move to another nursery. As working parents, and with childcare places being so difficult to find, we have not been able to change his nursery. We have repeatedly asked for improvements, but it has felt as though there has been more effort to reassure us than to make real changes, and our concerns have often not been addressed. Parents are frequently asked to sign accident and incident forms. While accidents can happen, I would expect the nursery to identify hazards and make improvements to help prevent similar incidents from happening again. I raised these concerns with the previous management on several occasions but was disappointed that I did not see meaningful improvements. At the time, I was worried about speaking out publicly because my son was still attending the nursery, and I didn’t want him to be treated differently. I believe all Busy Bees branches should provide the same high standards of care, safety and management. Sadly, I don’t feel Busy Bees Camberley meets those standards.

  I am sharing this review following the decision to remove my child from Busy Bees Camberley due to several negative experiences: 1. Inappropriate comments made about my child’s appearance in front of him with a staff member pinching his stomach saying he “needs the gym.” 2. My child was physically restrained by an agency staff member during pick up when he was upset and trying to get to me. 3. I contacted the centre director to confirm the notice period for withdrawing enrolment at nursery as this is not noted on the website. The response from the centre director focused not on my child’s wellbeing or my concerns but noting that the marketing team would need to be contacted to update the website. 4. Communication from the centre director regarding important issues at the nursery was vague and lacked transparency and this was a recurring theme. Our child is now thriving at another nursery, and we would urge Busy Bees nursery to make significant improvements to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children remaining in their care.

  My son has been in this nursery for almost 3 years. He settled really well and made many friends. My eldest son also attended this nursery when he was younger. The staff is great, they keep us informed about everything. Great nursery!
