  A good place for a service, there is a waiting room to one side of the main building with a heater, water dispenser, chairs plus plenty of place to stand, this is good to get out of the wind and rain, there are two toilets, good size and clean, and the car park has plenty of spaces. The outside of the front doors (and where the hearse can drive up to) is covered and smart, clean and tidy. The main room can seat around 90-100 I believe and the front rows have different comfy seating for immediate family which is a nice touch. There is a podium (with a tiny step) and good microphone and speakers, although feedback from one family member was that those that struggle with hearing or audio processing may be better sitting towards the aisle instead of by the wall. There is an alcove for the coffin that has a surrounding wall that a lovely background is back projected onto and there is a choice of backgrounds such as countryside and floral that can be chosen. This screen can also have song lyrics and photos put up during the service including a lovely photo montage to music. Live streaming can also happen for those people that cannot be there in person. After the service you exit into a curved walkway where the flowers are brought out and placed by the name of the loved one and guests can see these and chat. The staff made sure that the movement from one service to the next was smooth and timely. The only downside to the location is the fact that it is open to the wind that whistles through the outside space, this is cold for those stood outside, especially the vulnerable. If this site had protection from the wind it would be more comfortable however the building is new, modern but tasteful, fits the landscape beautifully and was a great place for a good service and send off.
