We are extremely happy with BusyBee Rushmere nursery. The staff are caring, friendly, and truly dedicated to the children’s development and wellbeing. Our child has grown so much in confidence, communication, and social skills since joining.
The environment is clean, safe, and welcoming, with plenty of fun and educational activities every day. We also really appreciate the regular updates and excellent communication from the team.
It gives us great peace of mind knowing our child is happy, supported, and excited to go to nursery each day. We highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a nurturing and professional childcare setting.

Highly dissatisfied. I was overcharged hundreds of pounds. Every single invoice was wrong. I pulled my child out because communication was THAT bad. The cherry on top was when they carried on charging me after my child had left and THEY asked ME to justify why I thought I didn't owe them any more money. I've never, in all my life, delt with a company/business this bad. Avoid. But if they can't then make sure you put EVERYTHING in writing and keep all emails. You will need then when your invoices are wrong and you are over charged. I know other people who have left for the same reason, which says a lot. I'm clearly not a solitary case. The nursery act like they are very separate from the billing office and vice versa. This is fine if you have good communication but they have ZERO!

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this nursery. What initially seemed like a welcoming and professional environment quickly turned into a frustrating and upsetting being charged significantly more without clear explanation. Hidden costs kept appearing, which felt very misleading and unprofessional. For parents trying to budget, this kind of lack of honesty is unacceptable. They didn’t even say goodbye when they sent my son away. He had been there for more than a year, and he was crying and saying he was sad. Now he is in another nursery, and he seems happy. He even says he wants to go to nursery. He was sent a week earlier than his expected finishing date, and when I asked for an explanation, I didn’t receive a clear or proper response.
Even more concerning was the way some children appeared to be treated differently. I noticed what I can only describe as unfair and discriminatory behavior toward certain kids, which is deeply troubling in a setting that should be inclusive, supportive, and nurturing for all children. Every child deserves equal care and respect, and I did not see that consistently here.
Overall, I would not recommend this nursery. Between the unexpected charges and the concerning treatment of children, I cannot trust them with my child’s care.

I have signed my son up here for when I go back to work. Karen, the Nursery Manager, seems very knowledgeable and competent. And the facilities looked well thought out. But most of all, when looking round, the children seemed genuinely happy.

Yes, we do – we call them settling-in sessions. If you're interested in a settling-in session, start by booking a visit to your local nursery; they can tell you more about how it works.
Do you provide nappies?
Whether or not we provide nappies varies from nursery to nursery. In some, we offer an all-inclusive package that covers nappies for children under 2. In others, we ask parents to provide their own. Talk to your local nursery to check whether you'll need to supply your own nappies.

How will I know if my child is settling in?
Starting nursery is an emotional time, for you as well as for your child. After all, it’s a big step! So, we’ll do everything we can to help your child settle in and give you peace of mind.
Before your child starts nursery, you're welcome to come for a settling-in session.
