I attended a service today and similar to previous posts, comparing this facility with Daldowie Crematorium my experience was also disappointing. There were a number of elderly and disabled mourners in our group and prior to the service there was no access to toilets via the waiting room. The main doors giving access were locked even though there was no service in operation.
Also other reviews have posted that on leaving the building through a side door there was a tail back of cars and hearse queued up waiting to drive into the crematorium. Our cars had filled the car park totally blocking their entrance. Clearly not enough time allowed between services.

I've been to 2 cremation services in my life, 1 at Daldowie and 1 recently here, so maybe this is normal now but I will explain what I never liked first. Our hearse and family cars arrived and there was still a hearse and family cars out the front of the place where you enter and exit from the previous service and the car park was still quite full, we were not super early and our FD had wasted time driving 20mph all the way from the church using backroads. This is not a nice look, kind of made to feel like its a factory line. In my opinion there should be allowed adequate enough time between services for the previous funeral cars to leave and car park to empty well before the next ones arrive. I understand its a business and all that but still not good, more attention to detail or an extra 30mins added between services. Also this is minor but I never liked the wall panels on the main wall (like wooden acoustic panels you see) plays tricks with the eyes I found.
Good points, nice location, modern, screens for reflection pictures to be shown. Although to be honest I think I preferred the Daldowie service 25 years ago. Wasn't a full car park or another hearse still parked out front. I'd give this place 2.5 stars accordingly felt too industrial and if I ever have the resposibility of arranging something like this in future this is something I will insist on making sure about.

As a family we tragically had to use the crematorium recently and both the staff and the surrounding environment made this the most positive bearable experience
The unique special setting is both peaceful and uplifting
I can’t recommend enough

Said goodbye to a close friend today . Found the place to warm inviting and welcoming . Not the normal crematorium cold and uncomfortable.

We just took our Mum there yesterday and from the moment we arrived till we left we felt like it was our own property, so much space and light , great media facilities to make the service your own. They made a hard time easy with absolute dignity and class , can't praise it enough
