That staff turnover seemed pretty high, which concerned us at first, but there was a core continuing group and everyone seemed great with her. It was her first experience of nursery and everyone seemed great with her and she really enjoyed it. They also do really well with app updates etc.
- CCclaudiochrisSep 24, 20231.0Bad experience with busy bees, my daughter have a bit off spectrum, first day there my wife went to pick her up and found her crying a lot, very hungry and thirsty, her shoes was wet and her clothes was changed as the other one was wet. She missed the other 2 days as she got Ill with fever. Next week we dropped her on Tuesday for only 2 hours and we found her alright, Wednesday we dropped her there for 4 hours, when I comeback to pick her up she was unattended lost close to the bags area. When I picked her up she was all wet , i changed her clothes and one staff gave me a bag to put the wet clothes. I asked for her bag and bottle, those things was on next door room, the bottle was empty, a sign they didn’t gave her water for 4 hours as she can’t drink from a cup. At home she was desperate after water and food. I smelled the wet trouser at home and it smell urine, witch I doubt come from my daughter. We took her out of this place and trying to work opposite shifts so we can look after our little one. The doctor asked us to find a place for her so she could improve her cognition with other kids but after busy bees we are scared to find another place. We hope they improve the standards for the safety of the kids, specially the ones with spectrum.

The staff are all friendly and like family. The nursery manager Kirran has set a very good culture. Highly recommended.

She settled in so quickly (surprisingly as it was during covid and she was previously quite shy) and always comes out smiling and like she's had a good day. The staff are professional, understanding and communicative. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the nursery to others.

How do I set up an account for UP?
If you are a Busy Bees parent, just enter the email address you have registered with nursery. This will be the same email that your invoices are sent to. If you are not sure which email address you have used you can check with your nursery manager. If you are a Busy Bees practitioner, your manager will provide you with your log in details.
How will I know if my child is settling in?
Starting nursery is an emotional time, for you as well as for your child. After all, it’s a big step! So, we’ll do everything we can to help your child settle in and give you peace of mind.
Before your child starts nursery, you're welcome to come for a settling-in session. During the session, you'll have the chance to watch your child explore nursery and interact with other children and staff. We'll also assign your child a Key Person. Their Key Person is your dedicated contact while your child is at nursery, and they'll keep you updated on their progress each day. If there are any problems at all, they'll let you know. My child's a really fussy eater. Can I send them to nursery with a packed lunch?
For lots of children and for all kinds of reasons, food can be a bit tricky. In fact, that’s exactly why we don’t allow packed lunches or snacks from home at our nurseries; many of the children in our care have allergies, and we just can’t put their safety at risk.
Instead, we provide fresh and tasty breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks at every one of our nurseries. Our menus are healthy, varied, and NHS approved, and we cater for special dietary requirements, cultural food choices, allergies, and fussy eaters, so every child can look forward to tasty food they love to eat.
