Family-run funeral directors serving Abingdon, Wantage and Oxfordshire since 1978.
Founded by Edward Carter — whose proudest achievement was arranging and directing Sir Winston Churchill's burial at Bladon in 1965 — the business is now led by his son Nigel and his grandson Paul. We are proud members of SAIF.
We offer a completely personal service: traditional burials, cremations, direct cremations, pre-paid funeral plans, humanist and non-religious services, green funerals, and bespoke memorials. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Proud to be the longest established family owned & run funeral directors in Abingdon.
