I want to say the biggest and most heartfelt thank you for the care, compassion and love you showed my mum, Claire, and all of us during the most heartbreaking time of our lives.
Losing my mum has been devastating, but knowing she was being cared for by such an incredible team brought us so much comfort.
A very special thank you to Lucy. You went so far above and beyond your role that words don't seem enough. Nothing was ever too much trouble, no question was ever left unanswered, and you always made us feel as though we had all the time in the world. You made sure every single detail was perfect and treated my mum with so much dignity and respect.
Your kindness didn't stop after the funeral. You have continued to check in on us, offering me a cuddle and ear whenever. One of the most touching things you did was helping us scatter some of Mum's ashes while you were away on your own family holiday, in the last place we holidayed with her.
That act of kindness will stay with me forever. To us, you are like extended family and we will never forget everything you have done. My mum would be so grateful.
Max, thank you for your incredible kindness and compassion. The little things meant so much, you allowed us to visit our mums work place and you got out of the car and made the whole thing controlled and so powerful.
Your invitations to the coffee mornings showed that your support didn't end once the funeral was over.
And Amelia, despite being so young (my age), you brought so much comfort and reassurance to me and my siblings. One memory that will stay with me was the morning of the funeral you messaged me thinking of me and saying you topped up my mums make up one last time. Such a brave thing to do.
Kettering Coop funeral you didn't just organise my mum's funeral. You honoured her life, cared for her with dignity and held me and my siblings together when we felt completely broken.
Thank you for giving my mum the most beautiful send-off imaginable and for continuing to support us long after the service had ended.
We will be forever grateful.
With love and heartfelt thanks,
Soraya ❤️

Thank you will never seem enough for the care, compassion and support we received while planning Claire's funeral.
From the very first meeting, every member of the team treated Claire with such dignity, respect and kindness. During one of the most difficult times of our lives, nothing ever felt rushed, and no question was ever too much trouble. The funeral was originally arranged by Claire herself and then i was passed on to finalise her wishes alongside her 3 young children (16, 21,19) having never done this or experienced anything like this they made the process one i will never ever forget in the best way.
A VERY special thank you has to go to my absolute angel Lucy. I genuinely don't have the words to explain just how incredible she has been. She went above and beyond to make every single detail perfect. And i mean EVERYTHING. From bow ribbons on the funeral cars to supplying us 4 with our own small urn with their mums ashes in.
Nothing was ever a problem, and she always made us feel as though we had all the time in the world. She was consoling us always. Cuddles and compassion was unlimited.
Her support didn't end after the funeral. She still continues to check in on me and has shown a level of kindness that I never thought possible. She is one of a kind. So lucky to have her in my life. She even helped us scatter some of Claire's ashes while on her own family holiday with two young children and explaining to them what its about and letting her children understand and decide that Claire will be with the mermaids. That is something I will never forget. Lucy is quite simply my living angel, and I don't think I will ever meet anyone else quite like her.
Max also deserves enormous recognition and appreciation. His kindness and thoughtfulness meant so much to me. Small gestures, such as offering to play music while we sat with Claire, brought so much comfort. He helped with my anxiety during and throughout the funeral. He also has continued to send messages to check in on me afterwards and invited me to attend the coffee mornings at the funeral home on Tuesdays which showed that his care extended far beyond his professional role.
And then there's Amelia. At just 22 years old, she showed such maturity, compassion and reassurance. She was new to the job and also knew Claires eldest daughter and never made it once feel awkward if anything the complete opposite. Understanding and full of compassion. One moment that will stay with me forever was seeing her standing outside the shop in full uniform as Claire's funeral car drove past. It was such a simple but incredibly powerful gesture of respect, and it touched me deeply.
Losing Claire, my best friend, has been the hardest experience of my life. This team didn't just organise a funeral; they wrapped us in kindness, carried us through the darkest days and gave Claire the most beautiful send-off imaginable.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I will be forever grateful. The 3 of them are a perfect team with different dynamics that gel so well. I hope this gets recognised as I would give them anything to thank them.
