The Irene Crosswell Macmillan Emotional support Lounge offers free and confidential information and support in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Whether you have questions about cancer prevention, have just been diagnosed or are living with and beyond cancer our service is there to help. We offer support to anyone affected by cancer, whether you have a cancer diagnosis yourself or you are supporting someone with cancer, we can support you.
Our services include nurse led Emotional support, Macmillan HOPE course, Patient support group and 'Beyond the C' Choir. Our team consists of Cancer trained nurses, a Macmillan Physiotherapist, Macmillan Dietitian and Macmillan Psychologist. We are open Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00 for printed, audio and visual information. 1:1 support with a Macmillan Emotional support Support Nurse is available by appointment.
