Located at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Northwood, the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre offers a relaxing, peaceful environment for people affected by cancer to seek information and support about all aspects of the disease: from diagnosis, through treatment and beyond. The welcoming drop-in centre is staffed by healthcare professionals and volunteers and provides a friendly place to talk and ask questions. Services also include a telephone helpline, complementary therapy, relaxation classes, Emotional support and welfare benefits advice as well as details of local self-help courses and support groups.The centre also hosts Health beauty workshops and headwear workshops.
