About

Nursery SchoolChild Care AgencyBusy Bees Holdings Limited
This nursery is located in London but there are Busy Bees nurseries wherever you need them. You'll find them nestled by universities, tucked close to train stations, attached to hospitals, and snuggled down quiet streets in towns and cities, perfectly placed for drop-offs and pick-ups. Some are based in small, cosy homes, others in office buildings - and we even have one in a converted church. Every nursery is as unique as its children, but whichever you choose you can look forward to exceptional quality childcare, NHS-accredited food menus, enriching curriculum and exciting environments that give your child the best start in life.

We feel truly grateful to have found Busy Bees South Lambeth. Our daughter is genuinely happy there: she comes home full of stories and clearly benefits from the variety of activities and the daily time spent outside in the lovely patio space. The Montessori philosophy makes a real difference: we’ve watched our daughter grow in confidence and independence in such a natural and joyful way. Finally, we truly appreciate the strong sense of community and belonging here. The team makes a real effort to involve parents through thoughtful events, such as art exhibitions, Mother’s and Father’s Day celebrations, and other celebrations like the beautiful World Culture Day, where families come together to share food and traditions. It creates such a warm, inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels part of something special.

Our son attended Busy Bees from the age of 10 months until he was about 2.5 years. Staff is friendly, professional, caring. We could clearly see him develop closed relationships with them, as well as with his peers. Child development is central with a range of daily activities to promote their manual and intellectual development. The low amount of staff turnover is testament of good management too. As parents, we did get daily reports which include meal, naps, activities and pictures. By the way, this is why staff may be on their I-pad, so feel free to ignore negative comments from the window watchers who have never set foot inside the premises. We have now moved to another area of town and can see the difference with the high standards set by Busy Bees and our new nursery. Keep up the good work!

I’ve been observing the staff from my window. Kids are left unattended in garden. Some crying and no one around to comfort them. I can’t believe it’s a Montessori nursery.

Wonderful staff and management. Our little one has been attending this nursery since 11 months old and can't wait to go every morning. The staff is really engaged and they create a wonderful environment for the children. Group activities, self-directed play, time in the sheltered outside area, crafts... we have attempted only a slither of what they pack into every week during the whole of lockdown! The staff manages to give the children space to test their abilities and skills while maintaining clear boundaries. Our now 26 month old has made huge leaps in her personal and physical development since the nursery reopened. Staff and management also know all the kids by name and food is cooked on site by chef Tommy. Highly recommended!
